Who are Formula One Autocentres?

One of the UK’s largest independently owned fast fit motorist centre groups

How many units do Formula One Autocentres currently have?

More than 120 existing centres with plans to grow extensively over the next 3 years.

Target locations?

Central and Southern and North West England and now extending this into the South West, South Wales and the North East with new operational areas.

 

How many new units are you targeting?

We can open up to 20 new locations each year.

Size requirements?

New build – 4400 sq ft.

Existing buildings tend to be slightly larger at between 5250 and 8000 sq ft, but the business will also buy larger units and sub-let where needed.

Additional requirements?

Must have main road frontage and easy access. 10+ car parking spaces.

Planning consent?

B2 user and planning needed

 

Freehold or Leasehold?

Both considered, no preference.

Recent openings or new units in the pipeline?

We will be opening shortly, in the next few weeks, in Worksop, Ashton in Makerfield, Warrington, Wigan and Tonbridge. We also have additional sites in the pipeline for 2022 and 2023 opening.

What are the main challenges you face when acquiring new property?

With Formula One Auto Centres the main issue is the quality of the locations because full frontage/exposure to a very busy road is an absolute requirement.
