Who are Bruce’s Doggy Day Care?


Bruce's Doggy Day Care is the UK’s leading dog day care provider offering dog day care to dog owners throughout south west London and out into Surrey. BDDC offers full and half day care, holiday boarding, on-site grooming salons and puppy socialisation. BDDC have a fleet of Doggy Buses to chauffeur dogs to and from their home if required or the owners can drop their dogs on site at the beginning of the day and collect them at the end.


How many sites do Bruce’s Doggy Day Care currently have?


We currently have 3 sites


Target locations


  • Edge of town, rural locations
  • Within close proximity to affluent residential areas in the South East
  • Land formerly used for agriculture, horticulture or equestrian use. Other uses will also be considered

Target locations include:

  • Guildford
  • Windsor
  • Sevenoaks
  • Beaconsfield
  • St Albans
  • Reigate
  • Brighton
  • Other locations will also be considered


How many new sites are you targeting


We are targeting 7 - 10 new sites

  • Good road access
  • Existing buildings or a building footprint are preferable
  • Connections or ability to connect to mains services
  • With or without planning use class Sui Generis
  • Hard standing is a bonus but not essential

We have secured planning consent for an extension of our existing site in Cobham which is due to open by the end of the year.


Extra information


We plan to expand in the South East and then Nationally.

We will pay introductory fees on a case by case basis and subject to planning consent being granted.

We strive to be recognised throughout the UK as the leading Doggy Day Care provider.

What are the main challenges you face when acquiring new property?


Achieving planning consent is the main challenge because we are looking in rural areas and often the green belt


Favourite occupier and why?


Squires Garden Centres because they occupy sites on the edge of urban areas in a sympathetic, environmentally friendly way that are developed to a high standard


What is your favourite building?
